Coaching Requirements
The following requirements must be completed in order to register as a coach and before participating in any team activities, unless stated otherwise:
USA Hockey Registration: click here

Minnesota Hockey Background Screening: click here
**Required every two years
USA Hockey Safe Sport Training: click here
**required every two years and cannot be added to a roster until completed
Complete a concussion training course and provide a coach concussion acknowledgement form to your association.
**NOTE THAT TRAINING CAN BE COMPLETED THROUGH:
• USA Hockey online age modules
• The Center for Disease Control
• National Federation of State High School Associations
Complete the USA Hockey online age-specific module(s) for the age level(s) of play you are coaching. Click here to register for the modules
**Cost is $10 per module and only needs to be completed once per age level.
Find, register and attend the required USA Hockey Coaching Education Program (CEP) certification clinic. Coaches have until December 31st to complete the appropriate CEP clinic. Click here for more information
